Helping people find a way forward for over 38 years.
About Lorraine
For most people, asking for help isn't the first step.
It's usually the last.
By the time someone reaches out to me, they've often spent weeks, months—or even years—trying to work things out on their own.
My role isn't to give people all the answers.
It's to help them see possibilities they may not be able to see themselves, rebuild their confidence and take the next step with greater clarity.
Coaching isn't about having all the answers. It's about asking the right questions.
My Approach
I provide a calm, supportive and objective space where we can untangle what's happening, gain a fresh perspective and develop practical steps that feel right for you.
Every coaching journey is different because every person is different.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach—only the approach that's right for you.
I believe every person already has the ability to move forward.
Sometimes life simply becomes too noisy, overwhelming or complicated to see the way clearly. That's where I can help.
Experience you
can trust
For over 38 years, I've worked alongside people through some of life's biggest challenges and opportunities.
I've supported individuals navigating career changes, relationship breakdowns, grief, redundancy, loss of confidence and major life transitions.
I've worked with young people building confidence and finding direction for the future.
I've designed and delivered workshops, leadership programmes and facilitation for organisations across Scotland.
Alongside my professional experience, I've also lived through many of life's challenges myself.
That combination of professional knowledge and personal understanding allows me to support people with empathy, honesty and practical insight.
Individuals • Young People • Organisations
Supporting people at every stage of life.
What makes me different?
Practical. Honest. Human.
People often tell me they feel comfortable talking to me because I genuinely listen without judgement.
My coaching isn't about telling you what to do or creating dependency.
Instead, I help you:
Understand what's really happening beneath the surface
Challenge unhelpful thinking
Build confidence in your own decisions
Develop practical strategies
Move forward at a pace that's right for you
Sometimes that means asking difficult questions.
Sometimes it means simply giving you the space to think clearly again.
Either way, my goal is to help you become more confident, capable and independent.
My Values
We'll focus on real conversations, practical action and meaningful progress—not empty motivation.
Practical Solutions
Everything we discuss is confidential and built on honesty, respect and understanding.
Trust
My aim is to help you build the confidence and resilience to continue moving forward long after our coaching has finished.
Growth
Everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and supported.

A Personal Note
Like many of the people I work with, I've experienced significant life transitions, including divorce, redundancy, grief and loss, business closure, and the realities of building a blended family.
Those experiences don't define me.
But they have helped me understand what it feels like when life doesn't go to plan.
They've reinforced something I see every day in my coaching:
There is nearly always a way forward.
Sometimes we just need someone beside us while we find it.
