Here are 10 simple things you can do RIGHT NOW to GET STRESS IN CHECK:

  • Breathe.  When I say breathe, I mean really breathe.
  • Take time for you.  Even a few minutes in the right mindset will make a world of difference.
  • Write down your worries and free up your head.
  • Exercise.  Get some oxygen pumping round that body and let it wash your stress away.
  • Laugh.  Search on YouTube for a funny video if you need to - even 30 seconds will do the trick.
  • De-clutter.  Free yourself of the weight that's pulling you down.
  • Watch what you eat. Sugary treats might make you feel good for a minute but you know they're just a short-term fix.
  • Get a good bedtime routine.  Winding down at the end of the day is essential for a good night's sleep.
  • Be grateful for the good things.  No matter how awful things might seem, there's always something good out there - take time to find it and be grateful.
